PLAYER RANKINGS: Offensive Guards

For some reason, people believe in the theory that Guards grow on trees and that you can get stud OGs in the later rounds. Both of those myths are false. The really good OG were taken in the first, like Steve Hutchinson, Logan Mankins, and Ben Grubbs.

  • Fernando can and will play any position that he is ask to play. That is what the NFL needs more of (versatile Lineman).

  • Yes. I agree he is very versatile, but again he is only 6′4″, which means he is limited to guard or tackle…. Unfortunately we are in the NFL that puts a huge premium on size of your NFL O-Lineman. If he was 6′6″-6′7″ he would probably be a top 25 pick

  • Fernando was my P.E. teacher for a couple weeks. He’s the man and deserves to be in the NFL

  • Somehow i missed the point. Probably lost in translation :) Anyway … nice blog to visit.

    cheers, Spikelet.
